Technical Performance of Water Services in Jakarta - Quarterly Performance -3 / 2018DOWNLOAD

In 2018, BRPAM has evaluated the technical performance of DKI Jakarta drinking water service operators (PALYJA and Aetra) in the third quarter, namely the period July-September 2018. In the third quarter of 2018, the achievement of drinking water services, especially technical indicators in the West (PALYJA) and Timur (Aetra) DKI Jakarta experienced improvements in certain parameters when compared to conditions in the second quarter. These improvements occur in the parameters of the number of connections and production of water. However, on the other hand, other indicators did not experience significant improvements, namely the service coverage parameters, the volume of water sold and water loss.

For the overall condition of Jakarta in Quarter-3, namely the compilation of BRPAM based on data from each operator, it was conveyed that compared to Quarter-2 performance service coverage decreased 0.04%, the number of connections increased by 2,981 connections, production water volume increased by 1,287. 969 m3, the volume of sold water decreased by 421.758 m3 and NRW increased by 0.91%.

BRPAM also reported, that towards the achievement of PALYJA and AETRA until Q3, when compared to the final target of 2018 (agreed by the Parties, PAM Jaya and Operator Partners), the target achieved was only from the parameters of PALYJA water production. The rest, the target has not been reached. Until the end of September 2018 for PALYJA, the number of connections reached 89.2% of the target, water production had reached 102.7% of the target, the volume of water sold was 75.75%, and the percentage value of NRW was still 12.53% higher than the 2018 target The achievement of Aetra until the end of September 2018, the number of connections reached 99% of the target, 79.23% of water production, 69.27% of the water volume sold, and the NRW percentage value was still 8.06% above the 2018 target.

As is known, BRPAM published a Report on Evaluating the Performance of Jakarta Water Supply Services every three months (quarterly report). The report containing information on technical, service and financial performance with evaluation parameters is the agreed parameters in the PKS (Cooperation Agreement between PAM Jaya, as the First Party, with PALYJA and or Aetra, as the Second Party). The Performance Indicators evaluated include technical performance indicators, service quality performance indicators and financial performance indicators. In addition to evaluating performance indicators, BRPAM also provides advice and technical assistance to Parties in order to improve the performance of Jakarta's drinking water services.
