Quarter I / 2017 Performance: NRW Reduction Target Still 2 Digits.DOWNLOAD

The first quarter (Q1 / 1) performance of drinking water operators Jakarta, PALYJA and Aetra still did not meet the 2017 annual target. For Jakarta overall, the Non Revenue Water (NRW) gap between the 2017 target and the 1st Quarter results is still At double digits, ie 14.20%. The 1st Quarter result is 48.15% while the 2017 target is 33.75%. The NRW condition for Q12017 is also higher than the same period in 2016 (44.52%). Although it is still too early to compare the annual targets, the first quarterly evaluation should be a record for operators to take progressive measures. Because similar conditions are also found in other targeted indicators.


For service coverage parameter, PALYJA realization until March 2017 was 57.44%, decreased by 0.11% compared to December 2016, and lower 2.21% compared to the same period in 2016. AETRA service coverage on In March 2017 was 61.04%, an increase of 0.27% compared to December 2016 and still 1.17% higher than the same period in 2016 .


Related to customer connections, PALYJA targets the number of subscribers by 2017 to be 453,108 connections while the realization up to March 2017 is 403,802 connections. However, compared to the previous quarter (quarter-4/2016) there was an increase of 188 connections. AETRA's subscriber target target for 2017 was 456,151 connections, while the realization up to March 2017 was 438,527 connections. There is an additional 2,750 connections compared to 2016. The realization of the target volume of PALYJA's sold water in the first quarter of 2017 is 23.38% of the 2017 target, while AETRA is 21.8% of the 2017 target.

As is known, in the PAM Jaya Cooperation Agreement with Palyja and Aetra, there are 5 technical target parameters defined as performance indicators. These parameters are Number of Connections, Water Production, Service Coverage, Sold Water Volume and Water Loss Rate. The five parameters refer to Rebasing PAM Jaya and PALYJA, and Master Agreement PAM Jaya and Aetra. The assessment of the achievement of the technical targets of each parameter, carried out in two service areas, namely the West for which PALYJA served and the East region served by Aetra.
